Aerial Dance Workshops - 15th February

Afternoon sessions suitable for beginners; learn skills and moves on the aerial silks – lots of fun with plenty of photo opportunities!

UVG Singing Workshops - 22nd February

Love to sing?

The UVG has been wowing audiences across the Portsmouth area for the past 12 years with their take on modern songs and classic tunes. They will be running 3 taster workshops for children, young people and adults 19+ with a mass performance by all participants at the end of the day.

Juts show up and have some fun! We aim to offer fun and creative events for everyone in Paulsgrove and beyond, if you have ideas for future events come and have a chat with us!

Have a Party

We offer some lovely celebration packages for weddings, birthdays and christenings. Champagne toasts, funeral teas and we will personalise your event to be just the way you want it and create a truly special occasion!

Host an event

Have you always wanted to throw a party for Paulsgrove? If you want to hold an event for the local community we’d love to host it! Let us know your thoughts and we will provide a venue and support to plan and market your event. 

Share Your Skills

From baking to book clubs, ballet to ballroom – if you have a skill you want to share with others get in touch to discuss how to get it started! We will provide the venue and help to plan workshops or groups and marketing. 

Become a Member

St. M’s Events members volunteer their time to run events and activities for Paulsgrove. The cost of membership is just 5 hours of your time a month and in return you’ll receive vouchers and discounts for parties, activities and events, including a FREE ticket for the SUMMER BALL. ( worth £15 ).

Parent and Toddler Coffee Morning

Every Wednesday morning we hold a coffee morning for a group of local parents and toddlers. We are looking for some helpers to run games and crafts for the toddlers. 

 

Craft Drop In

As part of an afternoon of dance workshops there will be a craft room where kids of all ages can create something to take home with them. We are looking for fun and creative people to help out. 

Events Assistant

As part of our half term workshops in February we are looking for some friendly faces to welcome people to the events.

No experience necessary – just a smile!

Cafe Assistant

During our half term workshops St. M’s will have a pop up cafe serving hot and cold drinks and tasty treats. We are looking for cafe volunteers to help serve customers, make drinks and take payments.

Have a Ball

Now that our Summer Ball date is booked we have lots of opportunities to get involved with everything from marketing to music. 

Green Fingers

This Spring we are looking to create a splash of colour outside St. Michael’s with a Paulsgrove garden created by local people. 

Event Set Up / Clear Down

We are looking for people to help set up and clear down; moving chairs and tables and decorating the space.

 Get Creative

St. Michael’s has 4 fabulous spaces suitable for a wide range of activities. If you have always said “I wish there was … in Paulsgrove,” now is your chance to   make that happen.

From dancing to reading groups, crafting to music we’d love to support you with getting a new group off the ground. Get in touch with Corinne today to   talk about your ideas.
